社会現象とまで言われたこのドラマ、一体全体何なのでしょう・・・？
見た人にしか分からないとしたら、あなたはFriendsを知らずに死ねますか？（ちょっと大げさか・・） |

アメリカでもドラマ放映時、Must-See （絶対見逃せない番組）といわれていたほどの番組です。
私が'Friends'を始めて買ったのは３年近く前。留学中の友達からおもしろいと評判だったものの、コメディドラマにお金を出すなんて・・・という思いか、なかなか手が出ませんでした。
ところがシーズン１を購入した後、一気に全シリーズ購入することに！一話が短編２０分ほどで構成されているので見やすいんですよね。
一人の時間は、いつも大笑い。何度も同じシーンで笑えるのが不思議。
今後もまだまだFriendsファンは増える事でしょう。
ここでさらにたくさんのファンが生まれることを願っています。

開始当時ほとんど無名だった6人も、最終的には1エピソードにつき一人当たり$100万（約1億2000万円）という超破格の額で契約するほどとなり、大スターの仲間入りを果たしました。
NBC局は１エピソードにつき計$1000万(約12億円)支払っていたと言われています。
最終回のコマーシャル料は、30秒間で平均$200万（約2億4,000万円）にも上ったそうです。
アメリカでCM料金が高いことで有名なのは、アメフトのスーパーボールの中継。アメフトなみの視聴率が期待されていたということです。

2006年１月、NBC局は局自体の視聴率回復を狙って、Friendsの再結成エピソードを放送、キャスト6人と契約を結んだという噂が、21日22日と流れた。
キャスト１人当たりの具体的な額（５～６億）や、脚本もすでに出来上がっているという話まで出ていたため、信憑性が高いとされていたが、米NBC局はこれを完全に否定。残念・・
